| A-Frame / Sidewalk | Window Lettering
Window lettering means lettering or
decorative artwork that is applied directly on the glass of your window
or door. Sign regulations typically do not require a permit for window
lettering, although they often limit the area you can cover to 15% or
20% of the glass. In some cases, you may also find that lettering applied
to the outside of the glass is regulated differently than lettering
applied to the inside. Sign-GrafX can use paint, vinyl, or gold leaf for your "permanent"
window lettering. Permanent means it will stay up and look great as
long as you want it to. Window lettering is relatively easy to remove
or change. A lubricated razor blade will do the trick. For quick and
affordable advertising, paper or fabric banners are frequently hung
inside a window. Occasionally a customer will request blocking out a
part or all of the window, as a decorative border, lettering background
or screen. This can be quite risky, as it may cause the window to develop solar
heat stress and cracking. Window lettering, like vehicle lettering and banners, is very
affordable and is a dynamite way to advertise your business. |
